This novel was the basis for the 1999 Thanksgiving CBS movie “Secret
of Giving,” produced, staring, and music by Reba McEntyre.
Jack was a script writer in Hollywood and was asked to kill off a young actor
on the TV series Rawhide.
This story was so enjoyed that everyone has asked for more; a sequel! So Jack, with his wife, spent three months in Mexico in the winter of ’96-’97 writing a sequel (see Easter in Calico below).
